WHAT IS GUT-PAC?
It is a microchip-based microbiome exploration service that allows you to look at the populations of bacteria that reside in your gut. Our work is based on extensive research from NIH Human Microbiome project. We look at specific DNA fragments that identifies unique bacteria in your sample. 16S Ribosomal Gene enables us to classify and distinguish bacteria from phylum up to sub-species level.
WHAT IS GUT MICTROBIOTA?
Our gut microbiota contains tens of trillions of microorganisms, including at least 1000 different species of known bacteria with more than 3 million genes (150 times more than human genes). Microbiota can, in total, weigh up to 2 kg. One third of our gut microbiota is common to most people, while two thirds are specific to each one of us. In other words, the microbiota in your intestine is like an individual identity card.

“We just dream of a life without pain and to be able to function again. Thanks to Dr. C I have no signs of the rheumatoid arthritis I was diagnosed with in 2012, and I’m regaining function that was stolen by the RA and Thyroid disease. I am recovering and regaining my life!”
